Examples of Coaching and Leadership Development Programs
Option One: Individual Coaching Sessions with accountability goals based on individual and leader input only
Establish coaching sessions
Session 1: As a certified career coach and life focus coach, lead individual leaders through the creation of an accountability
plan to address opportunities identified by the individual and/or their leader.
Sessions 2-4: Coaching Sessions to support the leader in the execution of their plan.
After Session 4, determine if additional Coaching Sessions are needed.
Option Two – Individual Leadership Practices Inventory (LPI) Activity
1) Administer the Leadership Practices Index (LPI) to individual leaders to assess “The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership:”
a) Model The Way
b) Inspire A Shared Vision
c) Challenge The Process
d) Enable Others To Act
e) Encourage The Heart
2) Follow-up with individual leaders to debrief results
Option Three - Option 2, plus the following:
Establish follow-up coaching sessions
Session 1: As a certified coach, lead individual leaders through the creation
of an accountability
plan to address opportunities identified from the LPI.
Sessions 2-4: Coaching Sessions to support the leader through the execution of
their plan.
After Session 4, determine if additional coaching sessions are needed.
Option Four Leadership Practices Inventory Group Session
1) Administer the Leadership Practices Index (LPI) to individual leaders to assess “The Five Practices of Exemplary Leadership."
2) In a 1–2-day session, leaders who roll-up through the same organization come together as a team to gain a more in-depth learning of the “The Five Leadership Practices of Exemplary Leadership.” During this event, leaders will individually receive their results. This action is supported by interactive sessions for leaders to learn from each other as they independently review their results.
